Every summer, musicians and fans gather in early August to celebrate the legacy of Jerry Garcia (8/1/42-8/9/1995). With tribute events held all around the world, August 1-9 has been dubbed the Days Between, named after the last song ever written by Garcia and lyricist Robert Hunter. To deliver the full color spectrum of Garcia’s music, Essex has brought together two of upstate New York’s hottest Grateful Dead tribute bands: Dark Hollow out of Syracuse and Rochester’s own Eric Carlin’s Half-Dead. Don’t miss this one!
